I was looking at much darker countertops, but then we decided on the "Twilight" flooring, so Idid not want the countertops to also be dark, with the oak cabinets. I think the black flooring will ground the room. The white "Ariel" quartz reflects the new LED lighting to open up the space. There is quite a bit a reflective light under the cabinets now.
Nice, I am thinking white cabinets and a black counter top.
