the difference is in the details
Hubby surprised me by taking the old, dated "country kitchen" top molding in the kitchen while I was at work yesterday.
Earlier this year we had changed out all of the hardware.
It is really hard to imagine the old look, but here is a photo I found. The lighting has also been updated, and a new fan is ready to install. The countertop will be installed next month, and new flooring.
I did not realize how big of a difference it would make to the look of the kitchen!
By taking the old galley rail top molding off it left a clean line across the top, and opened up the space, removing the shadow on top of the cabinets.
