And then they come home, withdraw from University. We never talk about that moment. We avoid telling our friends. We question how to explain this choice.
University is not the only option. I should know that better than anyone, being a Career and Technical Education teacher. 25 % of the jobs today need a college education and 65% need technical education. Why do we forget about the 65%, why are they always someone else's kid.
Gap years, the next big trend. Why are they trending, how many kids are not ready for university. Is it the schools, is it society.
